I have a psc1350 all-in-one that I have been using to print and scan with a Windows XP SP3 PC (an HP dc7600 to be exact). Using the Windows XP Scan Wizard a black and white scan takes 14 seconds from pressing scan to completion, which I find acceptable. Because the dc7600 lacks performance for today's bloated software I have migrated to a Windows 7 64 bit machine with a quad core i5 series processor and fast memory. The psc 1350 is a USB only product and I am using a USB 2.0 port on my desktop. The printer is wall socket powered, but behaves the same when powered from my UPS.
